Haha...sorry I haven't been on in what seems like ages! I guess high school is taking a lot out of me! And cheer practice has been going pretty well. I have kinda "grown up" since I was last on here. I wear makeup now and idk, I guess I'm just a little different. But I'm still the same old Brooke that everybody has known. Still pretty hyper and all...just tired most of the time. So here's a picture of me, Shayla, and Rachel that I took last weekend. Wow we had a lot of fun. I will try to get on here more...but it's kinda hard since I got a myspace...add me if you have one!! Me and My Bestest Friend in the WHOLE World!!!!!

Hawro!!!! So this is me and my bestest friend in the entire world. (I'm the one on the left...with the red sunglasses...duh =] ) She spent the night at my house and we went to church together in the morning. She totally curled my hair and it looked adorable. I curled her hair and it also looked adorable! We also made up a silly dance to Jesse McCartney's song, Leavin'. LoL. The dance is so cute but it's funny at the same time...if we ever show it to you, then it totally sums up our personalities. LoL. We are such dorks but we are totally like sisters!!!!!!!!!!!! Well, I'm gonna go now so I will try to write back soon. I don't know when but I will whenever I have something really fun to tell you. I just wanted to put this picture on here because I totally love it!

First Day of High School

I had my very first day of high school today. It wasn't what I expected at all. I had every class with at least one person I knew from junior high which was good. All of my teachers are pretty nice so that's probably a good thing too. I have Spanish with one of my really good friends from cheer so that class was pretty fun today. I also really enjoyed guitar. I wore all American Eagle today. It was jeans, a dark blue polo, and a pink tank top underneath and I felt like a prep in guitar class. It was kinda funny though. Everyone had something that had black in it and I was the only one wearing American Eagle. I have Algebra 1-2 as my last period and I kinda got a little lost. I went down the wrong hall way so I was a little late to class. It was all good though because there were a few other people that were lost too and I came into math with a little group of people. That was always good because then I didn't look like I got lost. Hahaha. Well, I gotta go but I just wanted to tell you guys a little bit about my first day of high school!

Cheer Camp

I just got back from cheer camp which was actually pretty fun.The first day we wore tank tops and we didn't even think that we would need a lot of sunscreen, but we all got so burned the first day that it's not even funny. I got a horrible sunburn on my shoulders and neck. It hurt so bad to move my arms all the different ways that cheerleaders have to move them.
Changing subjects, we were really spirited and we were really great with everything we did. When we put our minds to something, we succeeded which was so awesome. I was moved up to the JV team with all of my freshman team which was pretty exciting! And then the very last day we had Camp Champs which is where each team would perform a dance and a cheer and you could possibly win trophies. So, JV placed 2nd in three events and Varsity won three trophies. Then, we won a plaque for the Traditions Award. WE ALSO WON THE TOP BANANA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (the Top Banana is a blow up banana that is given to the best team there) Woohoo!!!! I gotta get going, but I just wanted to tell you the good news. So, I guess I had better get going.

Cheer!!!!!

Hey guys. I have been really busy lately and it's totally crazy that I haven't seen most of you in a few weeks! As you all know, I have been extremely involved in high school cheer. We have practice Monday-Friday from 5:45-8 in the morning, and I am not a morning person. I am still getting used to getting up so early but it will all pay off. We have been having some really intense practices. It's like nonstop. We learned a really hard, fast dance for cheer camp that we are going to in Flagstaff in a few weeks. And since we learned it, we have gone through the whole dance really fast over and over again. It's totally crazy but it's fun.
I also have tumbling classes that I have to go to every Wednesday right after cheer. We do a lot of conditioning and warming up before we actually do everything. But I am working on a backhandspring and I am hoping that I will have it down by the end of the summer. We also worked on stunting and I'm a base, which is really easy for me because I have had experience being a base.
I guess I had better go, but I just wanted to tell you guys how cheer was going and everything. Oh yeah, I almost forgot, this is a picture of me in my new uniform. I love it! It's so cute and it looks really good on everybody. Well, talk to you guys later! Love ya!!!!!!

The Real Jonas Brothers

I went to the Jonas Brothers Concert on Friday and it was amazing. Other than it being an amazing concert, I saw how much the Jonas Brothers care about their fans. I also saw how real they are.

I love how the Jonas Brothers publicly live out their faith and show their commitment. They are great role models and they really inspire me to be bold in my faith.

Senior High Move Up Party!!!!!!!!!

The senior high move up party at church was sooooooo much fun!!!! We played Bigger or Better, Book of Life, went bowling, Quelf (which is like, my new fave board game...so much fun!), and just hung out ALL night. Most of the girls and guys hung out upstairs on one couch and we just talked about the randomest things all night. Barely anybody slept. The only people that slept were Jacova and Cassie...but they only slept for a little bit. But it was so much fun...so I guess I had better get going...I just wanted to let you guys know what was new! So, I will talk to you guys later and I will see most of you at church on Sunday. Cya!

The Junior High Move Up Party...

Ok, so Sunday night was the junior high move up party. Since I am in E3 (or E5 to a certain someone....Rachel knows what I am talking about!! LOL.) I had to be there to help out. So did all the new Freshman E3ers. So, we played this game, The Book of Life, and I was the jailer for like 2 rounds...then the last game I was the Book of Life and nobody found me...well the demons knew where I was but that's about it. And so it was pretty cool just hanging out by myself for a little while and not having to do anything....except just lay around and be absolutely silent...
Then, we did a little something called Pie in the Eye...what we did is we had some of the freshman get in big tshirts and all of the junior highers got to spray whip cream on us, pour hersheys chocolate on us, and ketchup on us. EEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWW!!! You would not believe the smell. And so we had to go and take showers right after because we were so not going to stay like that the rest of the night. And so Rachel and I went into the boys bathroom and took our showers while the rest of the girls took a shower in the girls bathroom.
But I would like to say that Rachel, Cassie, Shayla, Robin, Janelle, and I were either pretty brave or we weren't thinking. And the boys were really smart not to let the junior highers dump that stuff on them. But it was pretty fun anyways. LoL. Well, I guess I will talk to you guys later. Ok, so I told you guys about how I was trying out for Boulder Creek cheer. Well, all of my hard work must have payed off because I made the Freshman Squad!!!!!! I am so excited. I can't believe I actually made it! I have been in cheer almost all my life and I am so happy that I made it for high school!!!!!! AHHHHH!! Oh yeah, and thank you guys for praying for me. Me and My Car Buddies from Dare 2 Share!!

I finally got my pictures put into my computer from Dare 2 Share. These are my "car buddies". LOL. We all rode in the same car and Kj's mom drove us. High School Cheer!!!!

Hey you guys. So, I am so nervous it isn't even funny. I am going to be trying out for high school cheer. From Tuesday-Friday I have a cheer clinic I need to go to. That is where they are going to teach us some cheers and we will have to perform them for the actual tryouts. And then, on Saturday, are the actual tryouts. So, just be praying for me and hope that I make it because I have been cheering almost all my life and that's just something that I really enjoy doing. And I won't see you guys at church on Wednesday night because I will be at the cheer clinic. Well, now you know where I will be and you will know that I won't be there...so you guys don't have to be like, "where is Brooke??" ha ha. Ok, well, I love you all and I will talk to you later! Back from Cali!!!

Ok, so I didn't really want to post on here...idk why so don't ask...but I thought I might as well tell you guys that I am still alive. So, I went to Disneyland and had a bunch of fun. And I also went to California Adventure and had a lot of fun there too! But I got a lot of pix of me and some characters. It was really cool. The only person that I didn't get that I really wanted to was Peter Pan. I saw him walking around like, 3 years ago and I figured he walked around like every other character...but he doesn't...and I was pretty upset! But, anyways, so we were supposed to go home on Friday night but my dad surprised my whole family and got us a room at the Hilton Beachside Hotel. So, we were on the 9th floor and we had a perfect view of the ocean on one side, and on the other side you could see all these city lights and it was totally beautiful!!! (Rachel, you already know about this 'cuz I called you!) But anyways, we stayed the night there and my parents couldn't get me out of bed the next morning because the bed, pillows, and comforter were so comfy! So yeah...but if you look to the left, then you can see that I changed my profile pic!!!!!!! I love those sunglasses! LoL...so, I guess I will talk to you guys later!

Stellar Kart!!!

Ok. Here are all of the members of Stellar Kart! I think they are all totally amazing and I am just in love with them. I think they are all very cute but my biggest crush (out of these four!!) is definitely Brian. He's the one on the bottom left. I think he is really cute and he is such a great guitarist!!! I happen to love all these guys a lot. And their songs are just totally fabulous. I mean, they always have a different message!!

My friend was saved!!!!

Hey, remember my friend, Holly, that I was witnessing to at school? Well, it was so awesome because we were talking at school and she told me that she wanted to accept Christ into her heart for real. So, on the field at school, we prayed together and she gave her life to God. I have already seen some changes in her. Please keep her in your prayers as she continues to grow in her faith. How awesome is that?

Dare 2 Share: Survive

Oh my goodness. This conference was so life changing!!! Just like Rachel, I am going to have a long post but I want people to read this and comment on it. I may even go through some of the same things that Rachel went over. So, this conference was so life changing. It made me think of what I was doing wrong in my life. I also realized that I was messing around with Christianity and I am ready to take it seriously and not mess around with it anymore. I want people to see me and know that I live my life for God and that my life is way better than the non-believers who are just messing up their lives time and time again. All of the people who would comment on here know what I am talking about, so I don't think I really have to explain everything. (Rachel, Andrew, and Jacova!!) Well, anyways, they did this skit for us that was talking about the persecution of Christians. And, I was thinking, man, I really hope this doesn't happen, but if it does happen for some reason, then I am going to die for my Jesus. He died for everyone's sins and if I have to choose whether I die because of something I believed in or live and deny Jesus, then I am so going to choose dying for Jesus. He is the best thing that has ever happened to me in my life and I am so grateful for everything He has done for me. I mean, my life would be a total wreck without him. Also, when Greg picked Tim to talk to in front of everyone that was just amazing. It was at that moment that I realized that Tim loves us more than anybody realized. He just wants what is best for us and he wants us to live a healthy, Christian life. And when he prayed over our whole youth group...man, was that awesome! At this conference, I just coudn't stop listening to Greg, Derwin, and Zane. It's like no matter how hard I tried (which I didn't try) I just couldn't pull away from what they were saying to me. It was so not like school where I have to struggle just to listen to the lecture that my teachers give us. But I also wanted to start praising God in every little thing I do. With my homework, schoolwork, chores, and just with everything else in my life. I figured out that I just want Him to be really proud of me and that I never want to let Him down again. I mean, I am just a person and I am not perfect and I know that I am going to mess up again and again in my life. But I also know that whenever I fail, I am going to get back up on my feet and try again. But today when I was at school, I found myself praying all day. I mean, I would pray that God would help me pay close attention in school, and that I could make it through the day without being mean to anyone and wow, He really helped me out. I mean, I felt like I could take on the world's highest mountain today. It was incredible at how much he helped me. And, I have said many times that I am really scared to go to high school. But when Lincoln Brewster introduced that song to us, I really took the part that said, "I WON'T WORRY 'BOUT TOMORROW, I'M TRUSTING IN WHAT YOU SAY" to heart. I am going to live by that and try to live the way that God wants me to live. I am so in love with God!!

Awesome Christian Rock Bands

The one on the top is Stellar Kart. I was first introduced to this band by one of my friends that lives in Hawaii. I was at her house and we started to watch Christian music videos and Stellar Kart came on and I was like, instantly in love with them. The band on the bottom is Relient K. I'm pretty sure most of you guys know that. LOL. So, I have liked them for a while...I just don't know how long I have liked them. Ok, well, I hope to see you guys soon. Love ya.
